There are so many questions about Jihad, which may arise in the mind of many people. What is it and why is it? There are many misconceptions about it. Many misconceptions are deliberately and willfully created by Anti-Islamic lobbies by the help of media, to antagonize the people against Islam and to make them hostile against Muslims. The Jihad is an Arabic word which is derived from the word Juhad (juhud also) which means, to strive and struggle. In Islamic terminology, it means, to fight in the way of Allah to promote and to convey his message to his mankind all over the world, to fight against the enemies of Islam, to fight against cruelty and barbarity, to fight for rights, to fight for peace.
Islam is a religion of Peace, and the enemy of Islam is certainly the enemy of peace and humanity. Thus all the Muslims are ordered to fight against them, to refrain them from their evil activities, to save people from them, to defend and protect the homeland and others Muslims countries, and to promote and spread the message of Allah among his mankind. Islam is free from boundaries and borders, therefore wherever, there is any anti-Islamic activists, hostile, cruel, barbaric and inhuman behavior with mankind of Allah; Muslims are ordered to help his helpless mankind, regardless of their religion, regardless of border or boundaries, from east to west, and north to south.
